From what we see here there are some pretty big revisions.  Frist we see that we no longer have the 3DS like tumb nub, in its place there are actual joysticks two of them.  Second the start and select button has changed positions to the right side of the tablet.  Instead of being next to the home botton.  Tjis was probably done for gaming purposes and how your hands rest on the whole tablet itself. There has also been added the WiiU logo and these two squares which I will assume are buttons for some feature. All in all I think this is huge since E3 is around the corner, keep checking as we try to get more info about this leak.

The first group of beta testers will be allowed in on June 20, 2012.  During this beta test phase, players will be able to do battle in 6 different intense game modes and across a number of dynamic maps. Those that participate will get to experience the fast-paced action of the competitive online multiplayer matches along with the cooperative missions of up to 8 players against deadly hordes of AI controlled enemies and mini-bosses.

Set in the near future when powerful corporations have led to the imminent downfall of humanity, Mercenary Ops pits deadly guns-for-hire against each other, as well as other hostile forces, in a struggle for wealth and survival. The game combines the tactical gameplay elements found in other third-person shooters with the fast-paced action of online multiplayer titles. Mercenary Ops puts an equal emphasis on competitive play and team-based cooperative missions, providing players with a truly action-packed and explosive experience.

Mercenary Ops will be free to download and play at launch this summer. The game features an optional microtransaction system that allows players to unlock and customize their weapons and equipment through special upgrades; all of which can also be obtained through the game’s loot system.

“Balancing is always a major concern when it comes to online shooters, especially when they are free-to-play,” said Mercenary Ops Producer, Jason Sharp. “Because of this, we have committed heavily to testing the game internally and have even invited some of the world’s best professional gamers for their invaluable feedback. With the launch of our closed beta we will have the chance to garner even more feedback, this time from general shooter fans.”

So what can we take away from all of this? Simple either Valve is one of three things:

First showing off something new for TF2, with the Meet the Pyro video.

Second something about their leaked concept sketches for the SOB project.

Third a Half life announcement of some kind.

Only time will tell but, all PC gamers are waiting at the edge of their seat to know what tomorrow will bring.

CO-OP MISSIONS

Assault 5 players

Push forward with a team in objective-based missions to gain access to equipment and upgrades. Fight against ruthless enemies that become more challenging behind every door, drawing the player closer to the epic battle at the end of their assault.

Survival 5 players

Battle for survival by fending off seemingly endless waves of attacking zombies and other walking dead species. Prepare for the horrors that lie ahead by repairing defenses and earning points to unlock the weapons as well as ammunition needed to survive.

Invasion 8 Players

Take on waves of the enemy horde as they push forward in a path of destruction.  Use time wisely and make shots count against deadly AI-controlled foes and mini-bosses to earn in-game currency.

COMPETITIVE

Team Deathmatch 8 v 8

Compete in a kill-based match-up across changing combat zones. In this fast-paced, tactical team battle, triumph over the opposition and earn a place at the top of leader board.

Demolition 8 v 8

Engage in  an objective-based struggle of destruction by working with a team of conspiring mercenaries to seek and destroy a targeted bomb site. Defend against the opposing force by finding and defusing their bomb, or eliminate the threat altogether to claim victory.

Elimination 8 v 8

Take up arms against another team of opposing mercenaries in a tactical bout to determine the victor. When the only thing that matters is obliterating the enemy, even the smallest mistake can be grounds for defeat in this high stakes, elimination-based competition.

Mercenary Ops was created using the Unreal Engine 3. The engine was selected for its cutting-edge graphics, multi-core processor support, optimization for the PC and massive world support.

Personally I think this will be a great break from the normal COD games and maybe will take some shares from TF2, judging by the screens and the different modes; I think this is a real solid game for a summer time release. Today marks the launch of the open beta for Brick-Force, the free-to-play sandbox shooter. All players have registered for the Open Beta and any friends they wish to invite will be granted immediate access to the game. Every registered player will receive a special key code that will allow them to invite an unlimited number of friends to the VIP Open Beta.

The Brick-Force client will be available freely for download on the official website, www.brick-force.com. With the updated game client, players can expect extensive changes, such as new possibilities in the sandbox mode, balancing improvements, brand new voiceovers in all six localized languages and several new items that can be bought with ingame currency or real cash. The overhaul of the user interface, browser client and two new shooter modes are waiting in the wings and will launch soon during the Open Beta.

Couch Craziness!

In a video released today, Infernum showcased some of the best maps from the Closed Beta and thanked the dedicated Brick-Force community for their hard work. She’s a Frag Doll Cadette but not many people know what they do (myself included until I asked). While not a big competitive gamer she does play her fair share of stuff. She’s a survival horror buff which is cool. Her niche seems to be more current generation stuff. When she’s not gaming she can play instruments and make food (check her profile!) but what sets her apart is the fact she wants to go into game design and is in school for it. Her art isn’t too bad either.

She’s relatively unknown hype. She’s still a Cadette even though she’s in the Frag Doll program. She also is very down to earth and has brains. She’s the girl next door if you lived in Wisconsin.

She’s a very competivie FPS player. I met her during the auditions for WCG Ultimate Gamer (R.I.P). She is a pretty beastly player at times. She is a world class rhythm game player and was has done QA testing for games. She currently does promotional work. She’s a competitive gamer in some genres casual in others. She has roots in the old school generation and has been gaming for a long time.There’s not much I can say if you’re reading this site or you’re a gamer then you know who she is already and you have an opinion on her.

Why should I vote for her?

Coming from someone that just got into the industry, I definitely look at her accomplishments and she had done a lot. She knows her stuff and is very savvy. Her skills are pretty legit as she has beaten a some people from the 8-bit dojo. Has she beaten me offline? Yes actually she has, she was the second girl to do so (my first loss came  in Tokyo against a Sagat player back when Street fighter 4 came out), I can’t auto pilot vs her.  Also if you look up her Guitar Hero vids they are pretty serious buisness.
