Microsoft swings their sales axe towards the Elder Scrolls franchise and offers modest discounts.

With today’s Xbox Live sale (which ends midnight PST/3am EST), 33-50% can be saved on the purchase of select pieces of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim digital offerings. Below are the pieces on sale and their sale prices:

Skyrim (Games on Demand) – Sale price: $29.99 (50% off)

Dawnguard (Add-on DLC) – Sale price: 800 MSP (50% off)

Hearthfire (Add-on DLC) Sale price: 200 MSP (50% off)

Oblivion (Games on Demand) Sale price: $9.99 (33% off)

Shivering Isles (Add-on DLC) Sale price: 600 MSP (50% off)

Knights of the Nine (Add-on DLC) Sale price: 200 MSP (50% off)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in March of 2006 and went on to receive numerous awards. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released in November of 2011 and received a number of awards as well, and was considered the second best game I played throughout 2011.
