One of the hottest titles this year, Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light, launched without one of the more intriguing aspects included: online co-op. While the core game was already completed, Crystal Dynamics rushed out the title in order for it to coincide with the Summer of Arcade schedule, with only the online co-op missing. Though developers confirmed that this online portion of GoL would be patched in on September 28th, the update never surfaced.
Nearly two months after the titles launch on Xbox Live Arcade and a day shy of one month since the original listed date, Crystal Dynamics will finally patched in that long desired multiplayer aspect to GoL. As a “thank you” for your patience, an additional free DLC pack, All The Trappings Challenge Pack, has been released as well. Featuring four challenge maps filled to the brim with undead adversaries, this free DLC is a generous way to thank gamers for purchasing a title with a missing component that was patched later than expected.
You can pick up the All The Trappings Challenge Pack right now for free on Xbox Live. Upon firing up your Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light, your game will automatically be patched to unveil the online co-op portion of the title, nestled under the “Multiplayer” tab on the main menu.
