Our favorite Red Dead Redemption glitches

08.12.2010

Let’s face it, the RAGE engine has become notorious for bad game glitches, we’ve seen NPCS do funny things in Grand Theft Auto, and now it has been taken to the next level with Red Dead Redemption. The game recently experienced a patch for many of these problems, so let us look back and remember our favorite glitches, because honestly… they are some of the funniest ones I’ve seen yet.

Flying Bird People – I find it funny that they actually flap their arms, and you can shoot them out of the sky? What more can you ask for when you need to get some revenge.

Cougar Man – Again animals and people merging, if they had designed a horror game, I’m not sure we’d even notice any glitches.

The Donkey Lady – Somehow a woman has a donkey mouth coming out of her face, you can ride her, she makes donkey noises, ah… the woman of your dreams.

Rocket Wagon – I don’t even… how it was able to fly in such a path with a trail of dust I will never know.

Lemming AI – Yeah… I think I would consider the same thing at this point.

Bouncing, Flying Wagons – INVISIBLE GODZILLA NOOO RUNNN RGGGHHH.

Well there you have it, some of the best bugs we’ve seen so far. Personally these actually made me want to play this game just to see what I could find, if anyone made a game that intentionally had stupid stuff in it like this, that would make me so happy. I guess that’s what Super Scribblenauts is going to attempt.

I live out in Seattle, Washington and work in the gaming industry. Gaming and I have a casual relationship right now, as I was big on MMOs for many years. I won't hesitate to get competitive though! I'm also a fan of anime and most things nerdy. I'd rather watch the History and Discovery channel more than anything else when I'm in front of the TV! Back in the day I jumped from Super Nintendo, to Dreamcast, to the original XBOX. By most gamer's standards I was deprived. High school was the first time I really got serious about games when a friend of mine got me in to Ragnarok Online. From there I jumped to L2 and FFXI. Now I play many genres and styles of games, and am nerdier than ever!
