Be a Man, Hogan

So yesterday’s pop culture icons have to find a way to stay relevant. Some do reality shows, some do sex tapes, and some just flat out die. In the case of Hulk Hogan it’s everything; reality shows, he’s still wrestling, dating a woman that could be his daughter’s clone. I just wish he’d take care of all the things in his money woes and running his food chain. I mean this dude is an icon. As a young Phire I was a Hulkamaniac, and as I grew I always had a soft spot in my heart for Hogan. When I hear the song Real American I get a little bit pumped up. I find myself now still giving people the vintage Hogan point.

Even when Hogan did his NWO nonsense and was “Hollywood” I still…No wait I didn’t, I was a Rock fan around that time, but in my heart I was still a Hulkamaniac. When he had that ugly divorce and his son crashed his car, I felt terrible for him. I saw that once invincible man beaten. The same man who beat Andre the Giant and starred in all those movies that aren’t that good but still they were family-friendly, actually dealing with real world problems. Even with that crappy reality show or his daughter’s lack of talent, I wouldn’t dare laugh at his struggles.

That is until today. Hogan suing the maker of Cocoa Pebbles, accusing the company of appropriating his image in commercials for the cereal.

Now is the character’s name Bulk or Hulk Boulder? In the beginning Hulk did call himself Terry Boulder.

What do you guys think? I think Hogan may have case but that’s extremely far fetched. I do think if Hulk wanted to sue, he should sue the guys over at Team Ninja. Want to know why? Two words

Sure in the movie the had the big sexy Kevin Nash play him and yeah it was semi-close. I mean the dude played Shredder in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

however her back story summarizes Brooke Hogan’s aspirations and goals.

Tina is a wrestling star from the United States who dreams of even greater fame. She first joins the Dead or Alive tournament, hoping that she can use it as a vehicle for becoming discovered as a supermodel, but her father Bass forbids it. To ensure that she does not achieve her goal, he also joins Dead or Alive to put an end to her fame-seeking. After competing in the first tournament, Tina is apparently defeated by her father, Bass, and enters the second tournament to achieve her dream of becoming a model. During the transition between the two tournaments, Tina changes her hair color from brown to blonde.

In her subsequent entries into the Dead or Alive tournament, she changes interests from wanting to be a model to wanting to become an actress and finally a rock star. These actions had further disappointed her already disgraced father, who only wanted one goal for her. Tina enters New Zack Island in Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 to escape the clutches of her over protective father, whom she needed to stay away from to prevent any more conflicts between her and her father.

It’s like Itagaki had some sort of time machine and went into the future. I wouldn’t be surprised who knows what goes on underneath his sunglasses.

In any case, Hulk please get out of the limelight and rest peacefully in my memories. I don’t wanna remember you as the guy who sued Fred Flinstone. This is how I wanna remember you:
