Girls, Girls, Girls! Girls I do adore.

12.07.2009

Video games, like movies, tend to have some memorable characters.  It seems that every year there is a hot new leading lady (or support character) that hits the scene and captures the hearts and wallets of fans.  This guy went as far as to marry one such female.  This is interesting, because I know at one point when we were young we all thought about this.  So, I have decided to put up a list of the ones I think are marriage worthy.  The list excludes Lara Croft because we all loved her at one point.  This is part of my all time list, most of it is current, some of it is retro.  Are you ready?

First on my list is an oldie but goodie, Cammy White from the Street Fighter series.

Her accent combined with her overall militaryness (yes I know that’s not a word) is just too good.  She had her debut in Super Street Fighter 2.  I liked her back then as well but I sucked at video games.  She has appeared in a fair number of Capcom games over the years.  With the introduction of Street Fighter 4 they have brought back a host of classic characters, she was one of them.  Needless to say she’s just as sexy as I remember.  Hell, the new graphics make her look incredible and she really has the angry white girl look.

Next up on the list is another Street Fighter babe, Crimson Viper (C.viper).

viper
Crimson Viper was a new character in Street Fighter IV.  I met this babe in Japan in 2007 and I was blown away, she has lighting and fire element on her attacks.  Who else has that?  Terry Bogard, the other ace American (you can argue the burn knuckle is fire but it’s blue plus her animation for Thunder Knuckle is the same.)  She has an attack similar to the Power Geyser.  She’s smooth, sleek, and stylish but the only issue I have is that she has a bit of a muffin top and what looks like a very huge package.  She’s a red head which separates her from the usual blondes, brunettes, and blue haired women of gaming.

Next up, from No More Heroes (I’ll do them in order of rank.)

First up is Holly Summers at rank 6.  Let’s review: she’s ranked my favorite number, has rockets that come out of her, fights using traps (holes and ambushes), enjoys killing, and has a beautiful personality to boot.  I am in love.  I love No More Heroes characters because I can relate to them (I relate to Travis and even cos-play him randomly).  I can also relate the bosses to certain people in my life.  To me, Holly definitely represents the girl/guy (what ever you’re in to) that you are crazy about but you never let them know, and then bang like a grenade in the mouth they’re gone.  Travis laments Holly the same way many of us miss that special someone.

Next is the number 2 rank, Bad Girl.  The name is so simple, yet effective.  I wasn’t really a fan of blondes so her character design didn’t grip me at first.  Her personality and boss fight are what won me over.  She’s so vulgar, so crass, and she swings a mean bat all while walking like a proper lady wearing a frilly goth lolita outfit.  Her music wasn’t too bad either.

Suda sure knows how to make ‘em. I am looking forward to the uncensored remake and the sequel.

Now I’m changing gears, this next slot is shared.  This one goes out to Rogue and Ms Marvel.

Why is it joint?  Well, because Rogue stole Ms. Marvels powers so essentially the are same except for the fact that you can’t touch Rogue.  Why do I love Ms. Marvel?  When a woman is super strong, can fly, nigh invulnerable, can manipulate energy, and has a great rack you – can’t argue with that.  Rogue falls into the same boat sans the energy manipulation and she has that cute southern accent.  Rogues combos are pretty good, too.  Ms. Marvel was a mainstay in my Ultimate Alliance game play.  Rogue is the staple of my Marvel vs Capcom 2 teams.

Rubi from Wet. I’ll forgive her voice actor for dating Rick Fox and her questionable fashion sense for the line of work she is in but her aptitude for killing is impressive.  She’s angry, drinks a ton of whiskey, and rages out.  They don’t make women like that anymore.  The fact that she kept her clothes on for most of the game made her even hotter.  There was only one panty scene in the game.  Her boobs aren’t huge and Dead or Alive jiggly or even Lara Croft status but she’s still hot.

’nuff said.

There are a couple of them who deserve some honorable mentions such as:
The School Mate dancing team from Dance Summit 2001.

Well if I had to pick one I’d definitely go with

candy

Candy but you already knew that didn’t you? From the same series Shorty, Frida and Kelly.

Millia Rage,A.B.A. and Jam from Guilty Gear and finally Alicia from Bullet Witch only because I  know her voice actor.

So who are you into?
