Food will include; okonomiyaki, miso-marinated beef, and roasted mochi. Attraction & goods include; Tenugui the versatile Japanese towl, manga, J-pop, goldfish scooping, Ikebana and calligraphy lessons, martial arts performances and much more.

Japanese brands Kikkoman, Otafuku Foods, Hisamitsu America Inc, Ajinomoto, will be participating, as well as NYC local restaurants including; Cafe Zaiya and Washoku Cafe. Book-Off will also be participating. Book-Off’s NYC location is 12 E 41st ST and they sell great quality 2nd hand anime & manga at amazingly low prices.

Sadly I will not be able to attend as I’ll still be in Seattle, but you guys definitely should! Who can turn down great food anyway?

I live out in Seattle, Washington and work in the gaming industry. Gaming and I have a casual relationship right now, as I was big on MMOs for many years. I won't hesitate to get competitive though! I'm also a fan of anime and most things nerdy. I'd rather watch the History and Discovery channel more than anything else when I'm in front of the TV! Back in the day I jumped from Super Nintendo, to Dreamcast, to the original XBOX. By most gamer's standards I was deprived. High school was the first time I really got serious about games when a friend of mine got me in to Ragnarok Online. From there I jumped to L2 and FFXI. Now I play many genres and styles of games, and am nerdier than ever!

It was pretty fun. Too bad you couldn’t make it. There were a lot more merchants selling bracelets and things like that more than anything else though. But there were cute cosplay girls there.

Glad you liked it! I saw a couple photos on a community I frequent. Sad I missed it. Delicious foods and cute cosplay girls, do want!
