Weekly Shōnen Magazine Spin Off

This week in Japan marks the launch of the 30th issue of tihs years volume of Weekly Shonen Magazine, along with this launch an announcement was made saying that a new spin off magazine will be launching September 10th. The Magazine will be released by Kodansha monthly under the title Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. So far the only artist to date that will be publishing their work in the monthly magazine is Makoto Raiku of Gash Bell fame.

Makoto himself has said in his blog that he will be working on a new manga in September that will be released in a new Kodansha magazine. He also stated that a One Shot episode zero of the manga will be featured in Weekly Shounen Magazine’s September 9th issue. No details on what exactly the the manga will be, but knowing him it will be something worth reading.
