New York Tokyo is running a Pacman tournament between different media outlets. This seems like a really cool idea for sites to actually get out in the field and do battle. I’m a little concerned seeing as how I haven’t played Pacman in forever but that’s ok.. I’ll do my best. If you’re in the area swing by. Maybe I’ll have Jess with me.
Anyway here’s a link to the festivities.
for those who are too lazy to click. Here’s a break down of what is going down :
PRELIMINARY ROUND (JUNE 8th – 14th)
1. Companies will pick two representatives for their teams. The best of each team’s scores will be chosen for submission.
2. Participants will download a NYT customized version of PAC-MAN onto their PC for free on the HOW page. Players MUST have internet access in order for their scores to be recorded.
