At this year E3 held in Los Angeles there were many things that caught the eyes of every type of gamer out there. One thing that may have been overlooked was the recipient of the Guinness World Record for Most Popular Online Console Gaming Service. That of course was Xbox 360 and Major Nelson was there to receive the award on behalf of Microsoft.
One thing to do once your platform has gotten such acknowledgment for its community, might be to start a virtual game show where thousands of players can meet in a friendly game of trivia and compete for prizes. Thus, the appearance of 1 vs 100.
Like many of America’s popular TV shows, 1 vs 100 had originated from Britain. The Americanized version appeared in 2006 with popular host, Bob Saget, as the accouncer. There was a DS adaptation of the short-lived TV show (Competing with Deal or No Deal), but what is making headlines recently is the Xbox 360 version. Luckily, Xbox was able to find a suitable replacement for Saget, Chris Cashman, who announces at each Live Edition of the game.

Instead of cash, those who participate within the game show have the opportunity to win Microsoft Points and once the beta is well – no longer a beta. The prizes will only become bigger.
