Sorry I'm not sure I understand your first question so I'll answer the best I can. When you buy the sims 3, it will come with everything you need. If you want user created things then you can go online and download those.

As far as I know you can't get hit by a car. I haven't really tried it though.

Sims do age the same way, however you now get an option to slow down, speed up, or stop aging. Your neighbors will also age with your sim.

There are currently no apartment options for sims. The best I could try to do was make them on separate floors but they still treated it like one big house.

I hope that helped! If you have any other questions feel free to ask. ^^

I just have a few questions
1.So when you purchase the Sims 3 you must get online to download it?
2.Can you kill people by running them over with your car? And can you crash your car?
3.Does your sim still age the same way?
4.Can you live in apartments?

Please Respond Back

You can visit other sim's houses, but I'm pretty sure you have to know them first because it wouldn't let me knock on a stranger's door. You can also jog freely, but if the destination is too far away your sim will get in a taxi, you still get to follow it around though and see your sim actually inside it.

I'd love to see what you do with your sims once you get TS3, you seem to have a very creative and entertaining way of playing. xD

So... is there a non-emo Sims2 mod?

Kidding aside, I was looking forward to the Sims 3 breaking out of the location based game play and giving me some more free roaming experience. Can I go to other people's houses, yet? Early screenshot had a Sim jogging in her neighborhood. Can I travel around the town independent of location boundaries?

Also: "...don't worry, I don't burn, drown, and starve my Sims on a regular basis."

What? Why? What's wrong with you? In Sims2, I made a park for people to go to that I designed into a 15 floor maze (5 floor buildings + raising and lowering terrain) that they had to run through if they wanted to use the only bathroom there.

Or put ridiculous hedge mazes under floating buildings (apparently they never fixed that bug from the first Sims) that deterred burglars because they got fed up when they couldn't find the front door. This was a double edged sword, because the guy who lived there couldn't invite people over, because they'd get fed up, too.

I also made the house in which I killed three families of eight in various different methods so I could see the house haunted by different colors of ghosts. This was a great place for those "paranormal" inclined people. Also, for extra creepy ambiance, I moved all the headstones (which apparently really pisses them off) behind a black door, through the black decor attic, onto a floating black platform that hovered outside of the house above the backyard.

As long as the new Sims continues to allow me to be a complete jerk and a horrifyingly destructive god, I'll be happy.
