Brendon Vera (My Hero) VS Mike Patt

In the beginning of this fight Mike patt came out VERY aggressive throwing lot’s of leg kicks but the problem with that is Vera is a Muay thai fighter with a sick ju-jitsu background so checking Vera’s legs is VERY VERY VERY Difficult. When Vera responded by check the crook of Patt’s Leg (between the thigh & calf area) Patt would stumble. I know for sure that Patt had NO IDEA what he had gotten himself into. Throughout the round Vera was crossing up Patt with left ->right -> leg kick mix ups. There was a point in time where Vera punch poked Patt and landed a SICK Cross and leg kick combo making Patt stumble. Vera continued throwing those devastating inside and outside leg kicks and making Patt stumble throughout the opening round now at 2:11 Vera caught Patt with a sickening inside leg kick which made Patt fall on his face. The funny thing is.. Vera walked away and waited for Patt to stand up. Patt then grew a pair of manlyness and threw ONE kick which connected with Vera’s head. From the looks of it though it looked as if it had NO EFFECT.

Beast’s Comment to the high kick = “Not very effective son just like pokemon”

At this point Vera just STOPPED moving completely and stood CALM. No bouncing around just one place throwing punches and kicks. Vera then threw a nice High kick to Patt’s head, Thank god Patt blocked cause i think his soul would’ve left the building. Vera continued his leg kick assault causing more and more damage to Patt’s left leg. Vera then switches from regular stance to southpaw stance throwing his left -> right -> leg kick combinations and cross ups keeping Patt at bay. End of Round 1.

Round 2. Patt comes out with a punch cross up and Vera responds with a Left -> right cross up with an outside leg kick then follows up with an inside leg kick. Patt throws a high kick and Vera EASILY parry’s it out of the way. The pressure began kicking in for Patt. Vera started pressing the action by throwing sick and random left right and inside leg kick combo’s to keep the pressure on Patt’s legs. Vera landed a sickening Leg kick that the nosebleed section in the building could hear. Patt started dancing on one leg looking like an injured dog holding his leg and vera capitalized by attacking the other leg putting Patt down on the matt. Vera thought about attacking while Patt was on the matt and said “Screw it son stand up” Upon standing up Patt was asked “do you wanna continue” Patt said yes. Vera finished the fight with a devastating leg kick putting Patt right back down on the matt Leaving Brendon “The Truth” Vera Victorious.

Fight 2 Tim Boetsch Vs Jason Brilz

For the record Tim Boetsch is well known in MMA being in various companies such as UFC , Reality fight , Madtown, valor , and of course IFL. For a heavyweight fighter this guy is not only a jeet kun do heavy hitter but he’s disgusting on the ground being a ju-jitsu specialist. But in this fight Boetsch displayed a huge amount of agression. Jason Brilz however is a huge underdog in this fight. He’s been on a heck of a winning streak utilizing his ju-jitsu and winning a huge percentage of his fights by submission. This fight has good written all over it.

Round 1. Boetsch came out EXTREMELY agressive throwing a flurry of punches and landing a knee to Brilz stunning him and then pressing brilz against the cage and landing vicious uppercuts and landing a leg kick for the exclamation mark to show Brilz what Boetsch is about. Brilz threw a few punches to the body of Boetsch to keep him in one place and smothers Boetsch’s breathing pattern to throw him off. Brilz then headlocked Boetsch and spun onto the back of Boetsch and put Boetsch on his back into side control yet again. Brilz kept Boetsch on his back for a good 45 – 50 seconds before placing Boetsch into North & South position and punching away at Boetsch’s body and attempted a guillotine which Boetsch was able to get out of easily. They stand up again and exchange punches then Brilz takes down Boetsch again. Brilz going into side control again and begins knee’ing Boetsch again and punching to tire out Boetsch.
