Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and then there was Platinum.

The newest merge of pokémon games is soon to be upon us. March 22, I will have my newest procrastination in my hands at all times.

Yes, so unlike the most of you. I have played pokémon games further than yellow version. Could probably name a whole lot more of the newer ones than you can. And thats a fact. These games were the only thing that got me through “family-bonding” vacations and I am forever grateful to the creators.

Giratina - Original Form

Undoubtably, there have been many sucessful pokemon games, leading the charts in my book is obviously the rpg versions, Pokémon Snap, Pokémon pinball, N64 Pokémon Stadium. However some spin off games from the originals left you …. yea basically what the hell were they thinking. I felt the Gameboy Trading Card Game was a failure, along with Pokémon puzzle league,Pokémon Channel, and Hey You Pikachu! was entertaining for awhile but it only got annoying when Pikachu would not respond to the fuzzy commands received by that shit yellow mic thingy.

The real reason writing to you today is to inform you of the opportunity presented currently at Nintendo World, NYC. Right now, when you preorder the game at the Nintendo Center (Originally the Pokémon Center), you receive a limited edition figure of Giratina in it’s origin forme. The main picture is the one I received today on my travels over there. Its about 2.75 inches tall, made by the famous figure makers Kaiyodo, and is pretty bad ass looking for a pokémon. I love it. You can too if you rush your ass over there to pre-order because there supply is running out.

I look forward to the game because not too many things are for certain for me with how I will let my Platinum story unfold. One thing that is already decided is which starter poke I shall pick. Water type. It’s always been water type! You all know that in the original game if you picked any other beginner pokemon, you were screwed once you reached Brock’s gym. Water type overpowers them all. So do not even try to argue with me that “OH Charizard was the best – because he was one of the rarest pokemon cards to get.” That is some bull because Blastoise was just as rare to find. Yea, I’m a pokemon freak and unfortunately you all must deal with it! muhaha.
