Comic Con day 1+NY-tokyo

So day one from Comic Con was pretty epic. This is my first con so it’s pretty amazing to see all the kindred spirits in one place. I can’t really talk to much about the awesomeness that went down and the win cause quite frankly i’m too tired. However there should be some footage coming very soon. I will brag about this but i DESTROYED. I mean totally demolished one of the developers of dcuo(DC Universe online) and talked trash the entire time. I HAVE TO GET THIS. The footage will be up oh hell yeah. I also signed up for the blazblue tourney. I’m so going to get p-dizzled At day one of the CLC L.dubbs reeled off an impressive 65 wins. 2 of them were against me so 63. He’s just lucky that I didn’t get to play and I was spending most of the day keeping high energy with my rhymes.Wait until IV hits console it’s a done deal once i get Cammy in my possession.I just hope her hooligan and knuckle are you know phire friendly.In any case pretty cool people i’ve met today. I have my superhero fetish and I got myself a superhero license. And I got to meet a lot of new gamers and touch base with some old friends from college. Lots of people are surprised that i’m a geek, yeah sure I possess a 37 inch or so vertical leap and blinding speed but at heart i’m a huge kid that loves comics.So the day was pretty action packed I will probably do a sit down with all the swag I have.In any case tomorrow it’s brawl with special guest hunk Kubuu from Deadly Alliance.

However later on that night the lovely Taeko Baba from Ny-T invited some of the team to the event they were having at the red bull sky scrapers. Hopefully we can get some of their better photographs but all the ones i have are from my spectacular Blood Berry Slash. We got to play the Shaun White Snowboarding game for the 360. My snowboarding game experience begins with SSX and ends with tricky. So a sim/thug(tony hawk underground) type game was new to me. I really want to learn how to snowboard. It looks fun. And apparently if you charge a snowball long enough you can knock someone clean off their board with it. This is a super technique i have to master. They were screening a movie during this event about snowboarding in Japan. I would love to sit down and watch this because a few people who shall remain nameless ABANDONED this Hokkaido snowboarding trip and I end up going in August with Ian(no offense Ian). Hopefully if I ask really nice or just raid the place I could score a copy. Full coverage from this can be found here

The space was really swanky and the music was really good. Free drinks all night . I was trying to teach Dan(another site writer) a 6-step(i’m working on it myself keeping the hips up is rough) but he wasn’t ready. I get down in a groove that he wishes to achieve one day.
