CES 2009 CAPCOM Features SF4 on Console

Hey guys and gals, its been a while since I posted something up.  I’m a pretty busy person but, I got a good treat for everyone today.  I went to CES 2009 Capcom Game Show last weekend.  They had the console version of the next big Fighting game, Street Fighter 4.  The console offers alot more than the arcade version.  It offers brand new characters such as, Gen, Fei Long, Rose, Cammy, Dan, Sakura, Gouken, and Seth.  It also has new stages and new different type of costume colors for your character.  And of course, what everyone loves about a home version of a fighting game, a training mode to practice all your different types of combos.

Me and another member of Team Kapital, Iloveujoe went out to this event that was held by Capcom at Planet Hollywood.  Many people were there for the console war tournament.  There was Microsoft, Sony, and of course Capcom Reps.  A man named Josh represented Microsoft and IloveuJoe represented Sony.  Iloveujoe won the Microsoft vs Sony tourney and he was awarded a PSP for his Sony loyalty.

Sony’s victory was celebrated…. Until Capcom reigned on their parade.  Capcom’s representive was no other than me, Justin Wong.  It was 2 out of 3 games 3 out of 5 rounds.  I beat Sony’s representative and Capcom is still #1 in the fighting realm.  For my services, I was awarded the tournament edition of the Mad Cats Stick.  The stick is really really and I mean REALLY good.

SF4 STICK This event, that was thrown by Capcom was great.  Everyone who had not touched the game was able to touch it before it comes out next month.  I, personally fell in love with the game even more, because I was able to try all the new characters and one of my favorite characters, aka ROSE.  She plays so solid and her ultra IMO is the best looking one ever.

I would like to thank Team Kapital for getting me out there and Team Kapital is the future of fighting games.  With their help and of course the community’s help, the fighting game scene will not die.  Look forward to the next Sinsation Tournament on Feb 7-8 featuring Team Kapital members such as Perfect Sin, Phi, and Eric V.

    Dan better be god tier. Either that or DLC Dee Jay asap :P Rose looks tight though. Was iffy as to why Rose and not Dee Jay, or if another female character, Ibuki or hell, even Cody. He was a little female dogger anyway. Still, can’t complain. The fact that Dan is included puts him as my probable main.

    Congrats on your new stick! I still need a stick myself. I might invest in that one since it does look well made. Wanna sell yours? :)
